 Terms & Conditions 

By making a booking with Red Bike Tours Ltd you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.

Customers will be sent a confirmation email to confirm they have reserved and paid for their tour.

 

TOUR CANCELLATION

 

A full refund is available up to, and including, 10 days before the tour is due to take place.

 

For cancellations less than 10 days before the tour date, no refund is available but there is an option to rebook, for no extra fee, for any time up to 12 months from the original booking date, or to gift the booking to another party for the same number of riders for any time in the next 12 months.

 

Weather: Tours will go ahead if it is raining lightly, although if raining heavily or under stormy conditions, a full refund will be available or the option to rebook any time in the oncoming 12 months.

 

ACCIDENT OR LOSS

 

Your personal property is your responsibility throughout the tour. Red Bike Tours will not be liable for any theft, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss.

 

USE OF IMAGES

 

Red Bike Tours Ltd may take photographs or videos of the tour, which may be used for marketing purposes, and may include your image.

 

If you would not like your image, or the image of a person to whom you are a parent/guardian, to be used, you will notify Red Bike Tours Ltd no later than at the completion of your tour.

 

PERSONAL SAFETY

 

Each customer is responsible for maintaining their own safety at all times. The Company will not be liable for any injuries caused to a customer.

Ability: By agreeing to take part in a Red Bike Tour, all customers agree that they are able to ride a bicycle confidently. Furthermore, all customers agree to follow the safety instructions given by the guide and to exercise due care and attention whilst cycling. If a participant is unable to ride a bicycle safely, the tour leader may ask the person to stop riding. No refund will be given.

Medical conditions: Cycling is considered to be the best form of aerobic exercise, but this may exasperate a medical condition. In the event of uncertainty, the participant should seek medical advice before riding a bicycle.

Helmets: These are available for any rider that wants one, although not mandated by UK law. The choice is entirely down to the individual.

 

CUSTOMER CONDUCT & SAFETY 

 

Red Bike Tours Ltd may, at its discretion, require any person to be excluded from a tour if the tour guide deems his or her conduct to be offensive or a nuisance to other customers. Red Bike Tours also reserves the right to refuse access to participate on a particular tour should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.

 

CHILDREN

 

Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

 

Red Bike Tours will not be responsible for the actions of a child, or consequences of such actions. The parent or guardian will be fully responsible for any actions of the child.

 

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that directions and safety instructions of the guide are fully understood by the child, and adhered to. Red Bike Tours maintains a public liability insurance for their activities. This insurance does not cover the clients or participants for their actions.
